Barbie and Joshua became popular after playing the role of young Jodi and young Cholo in GMA Network’s remake Koreanovela Stairway to Heaven. Barbie does not only resemble Kris and Kim with her dreamy eyes, slim body and innocence but resembles her rise to fame as a homegrown star. She entered the entertainment industry without showbiz background. She auditioned for “Stairway to Heaven” showing her natural ability to act competently and got the role outright.
As of now, the age of Barbie Forteza is 12 and Joshua Dionisio is 15. The two reunited in a drama show entitled First Time, which tells a story about three young people experiencing puppy love and deals on 
loss and friendship. On the other hand, Joshua considers “First Time” as his biggest project to date; one that levels up his acting ability and skill in preparation for more mature roles especially now that he is midway through his teens going to young adulthood. Although shy to say directly if Barbie is her crush, Joshua nevertheless describes her fondly as someone who is easy to get along with, a professional and very hip or fashionable.
With the drama show “First Time”, most of the teenagers and even younger than 10, I can say that they are addicted in watching the said drama. At home, every weekdays in the late afternoon right after “Family Feud” and just before “24 Oras” on GMA Telebabad we are watching “Firs Time” because my youngest sister is a big fan of Barbie and Joshua love team.
